The Basketball F.A.M.

The Business LLC

The Basketball F.A.M. LLC trains, develops and supports athletes in a unique way that builds character by setting high standards and reinforcing through positive motivation. We offer:

  • Individual and group training

  • Club team coaching

  • Camps and clinics

  • Merchandise

We create a close relationship with our athletes. That's where our name came from - short for FAMILY - and Fundamentals. Athleticism. Mechanics. The Basketball F.A.M. gives players great knowledge of the game to help each athlete reach their full potential. We like to challenge our athletes to thrive despite adversity, set and reach realistic goals and always have faith in their abilities. We believe their experience will build strong character to last a lifetime. We use our collective knowledge of the game to mentor and push athletes to new heights in a relevant way, training students to get ahead of the curve in the basketball community.

With discipline and gratitude, our athletes seek victory and excel both on and off the court. 

Houston FAM 360 Inc.

The 501(c)(3) Inc

The Basketball F.A.M. LLC operates a 501(c)3 called Houston F.A.M. 360 Inc. to support the players of its AAU Teams, per regulations by the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States, Inc.

The mission of Houston F.A.M. 360 Inc. is to develop “THE” universal athlete, by providing mentorship, life skills and athleticism for its AAU and other youth programs for children ages 5-18. Read more about it here.

About the F.A.M. Coaches

All F.A.M. coaches are from Houston and bring their world-class experience and local knowledge to develop the next generation of elite basketball players in their home town, H-Town.


Coach Justin Jackson


Coach Jackson is currently the Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at Awty International School, where he also teaches 6th Grade Math. He was an apprentice of former assistant coach for Rice University John Herndon; working closely with him to run his esteemed basketball clinics, teach private sessions, and coach his AAU teams throughout Houston. Coach Jackson is motivated to provide knowledge to his players. He believes that if you are passionate about your craft, that passion will become contagious to anyone that's willing to learn.

  • Graduated from the University of Houston (May 2013) with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management.

  • Coached a middle school boys’ charter team for three years while attending college. Led his team to with an undefeated season and #1 in the district.

  • Has worked for Rice University's Basketball camps for the past five summers. In 2013, he was invited to coach an elite Basketball camp at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Coach Justin’s motto is, "I create an atmosphere that expects nothing but the best. If you're willing to be the best, I'm willing to give my best.”

Coach Sei Paye


Coach Mansa El


Coach Sei recently returned to Houston after playing professional basketball overseas. He is currently overseeing the AAU and development teams for F.A.M. Elite and is a substitute teacher. His goals is to stress the importance of hard work and dedication to the youth. He wants to put kids in the best possible situation to be successful and reach their dreams. If you want to be successful, you must learn hurt, trust pain and embrace the struggle.

  • Graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio (May 2012) with a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Communications.

  • Played four years of Division 1 basketball at The University of Texas at San Antonio. The team went to the NCAA tournament and advanced to the 2nd round.

  • Played professional basketball overseas in Lebanon and Qatar, where he experienced life overseas.

Coach Sei’s motto is, "Strive for Greatness."

Coach El is currently the Boys’ Basketball Coach at Cy-Springs High School, where she also teaches English. Before that, she coached women's collegiate basketball for four years at West Virginia Wesleyan College (DII), The University of Houston (DI), and Canisius College (DI).

  • Graduated from the University of South Alabama in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies( disciplines of: PE, Graphic Design, French). Graduated from the University of Houston in 2016 with a Master’s of Science in Human Resource Development. She played all four years at the University of South Alabama and finished her collegiate basketball career scoring over 1,000 points. Coach El received the most notable honors while at the University of South Alabama: Perseverance Award Winner, TED Award Winner, and Third Team All-Sunbelt Conference

  • Helped lead Cy-Fair High School (38-2) to its first-ever state championship in 2008.

  • During high school, named to the All-State tournament team, TABC all-region team, and was a first-team District 17-5A selection and a Class 5A Region III selection.

  • Recognized by the Houston Chronicle and named one of Top 20 Basketball Players in Houston in 2008 and named to the 2007 Preseason All-Greater Houston Girls Basketball second team.
